“Air fryer meatloaf is so juicy and cooks in a fraction of the time and clean up is a breeze.
“This meatloaf contains a mixture of meat & seasonings and it’s topped with a delicious zesty topping!“
- this can be baked in about half of the time compared to an oven recipe.
- the fat drips away into the pan so the meat doesn’t cook in the fat.
- this makes 2 smaller meatloaves so they’re easier to handle (and you get more of the crispy edges)
- cleanup is a breeze (I have the Cosori 5.8QT XL and a quick rinse and it goes into the dishwasher)

“Made with cremini mushrooms, packaged chestnuts, thyme, stock, onion, garlic, and just a touch of cream, the taste is reminiscent of cream of mushroom soup but is sweeter and less filling.
“Chestnuts are underused in savory dishes and this soup highlights them perfectly. Their texture is sweet and nutty, so they pair particularly well with cremini mushrooms, which have a slightly stronger and more earthy flavor than button mushrooms.
“Prepped fully on the stovetop, this soup is quick to prepare. It serves up to eight as a side dish, keeps nicely for leftovers, is ok to freeze and easy to reheat.”

“This Bavarian/German cheese spread recipe, known as Obatzda (also known as Grupfter in Frankonia), is not for the faint-hearted. It is made with a blend of stinky, white aged soft cheeses, sweet or hot paprika, and a good bit of onion thrown into the mix.
“Some recipes also call for garlic, horseradish, cloves, and cream cheese. A Hungarian/Slovakian version is made with Liptauer cheese and is known as Korozott Juhturo.
“Obatzda is a classic German beer garden food found on a Brotzeit, a snack platter with hearty bread, sausage, pickles, and radishes. Other classic German bread spread recipes include cheese-based spreads like Obatzda and herbed quark cream, vegetarian and dairy-free spreads like a tomato spread, sweet spreads like strawberry cream cheese, and meat and fish spreads like chicken liver pâté.“

“It's not Oktoberfest or a party in Germany without this cheese dip that is usually the appetizer to a larger meal. Think charcuterie board with beer, not wine, as the anchor. Speaking of, if you don't want to, there's no need to use beer to soften the cheese. It's perfectly fine as a formed chunk of cheese and is served that way as well with various items to dip, but radishes and pretzels are the first stop to make this uber authentic.“ added 1-4-2024.

SK: I scaled to .25 recipe. I used less than 1-1/2 TB Hungarian paprika (no cayenne per author notes), ingredients. Ended up doubling all ingrdients except paprika and pepper as it will still too much heat for me. Otherwise, really good! NEXT time, start with two TEASPOONS max Hungarian paprika and add more if needed.
“My mother came from Eastern North Carolina, and loved frying fish. She never used flour, eggs, or any type of batter for the fish - just cornmeal, salt, and pepper.
“I have tried to duplicate her method to the best of my memory. I don't do a lot of frying anymore, but this recipe is well worth it.
She would make hushpuppies with the leftover cornmeal, having no waste at all.“
