Found in my tried & True. 2013 notes: Spectacular EXC flavor. Boneless, lean, well-trimmed chops, sweet onion. Instead of the sauce ingredients I used Minor's stir fry sauce from Gordons. Hi for 1.5 hours, then low approx 2 hours. Watch carefully to not overcook. Served w sweet potatoes and green beans
I used 28 oz of diced tomatoes because that's all we had. BUT in the end, when adding cheese, added a 32 oz jar of Rao's. And then even a little more. Next time use regular pasta, not GF. The panko crumbs added a lot. I would make again, Greg didn't like as much as I did.
Next time, due pre cut florets and a bag of thick grated tilamook cheese. I did this w fresh broccoli and grated the cheese. Greg added more soup base at the end…and some poultry seasoning. Good!!
Greg sent me this recipe. 6/1/23 This was AWESOME! ADJUSTMENTS: Added no salt, used only 1/2 tsp of chili powder. Used our fresh frozen cob corn. And cheddar + 4-cheese Mexican instead of pepper jack cheese. Made in our metal 13x9" pan. Bottom tastes like tamale meal; top tortillas get crunchy and cheesy
