This looks like my original. I added a slight 1/4 t cayenne pepper. Also, never add the cornstarch to the hot liquid. Put it in right away when the ingredients are cold or room temp.
Betsy could have this. Bell peppers could be added.
I halved this recipe for two. I used some home-dried rice, 2 T chopped green pepper and chicken broth after sauteing the chicken pieces. I used fresh garlic and a bit of pesto.
I used 1 pt. of my canned butternut squash (with other veggies) and my dried sage. I used some of my dried veggies, homemade chicken broth and white wine. It is very good.
