It’s time for another portobello recipe! This one is real easy and a great healthy platform for all those wonderful things you put on a loaded baked potato (which may not be so healthy!). I’m pretty sure you could put sour cream, bacon, chives and cheese on anything and it would taste awesome, so this was a no-brainer!

I had to make fresh Pan Cubano! (I said that last part with an accent). The bread isn’t too complicated, much like the sandwich, it’s all about simple things done well! Serving these sandwiches on freshly baked bread was a sure-fire way to please the crowd!
Swap in portobello mushrooms for pizza dough and make yourself delicious personal pan "pizzas"!
Now you may have noticed this isn’t a pizza, more a faux pizza, using delicious toppings you might find on a pizza but rather than pizza dough, I use a portobello mushroom! Low-carb and delicious, not that I particularly care about low-carb, but I DO care about delicious!
Crepes are one of my favorite breakfast fancy foods. For the most part, it’s an easy recipe to make and the toppings can easily be changed around to alter the look and taste of the crepes. For this recipe, I use our family’s oldest (yet, probably the best) cookbook: Betty Crocker’s Cookbook. To give you a sense of old this gem really is, my dad got it from my grandma as a bachelor/moving away from home present. Yeah, we’re talking dinosaurs years here people ;).
These cookies are an amalgamation of various recipes I have made throughout my life: my family’s macarrones de almendra, which are still made at the pastry shop; the macarons at Maison Adam in Saint-Jean-de-Luz; and Moroccan ghriba or ghoriba. They are very simple to put together—a mixture of almonds, sugar, and egg—and as the name indicates, they are cracked on the outside and chewy on the inside. If you prefer not to use orange-flower water, substitute with 2 additional teaspoons of finely grated orange zest. You can flavor the crinkles with vanilla, cinnamon, rose water, lemon zest, or anything you prefer.
A Savoury crepe batter with green onion and parmesan, stuffed with ricotta, spinach, bacon, and mushrooms.
My initial plan was just stuffing it with the ricotta, spinach, bacon and mushroom mixture, but in a stroke of genius, I decided why not put some green onion and parmesan cheese in the crepe batter!? Best decision ever!

Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce (aka South Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce) is an easy recipe for the tangy, slightly sweet sauce that is popular in South Carolina barbecue. It is perfect drizzled over smoked pork, chicken, burgers, ribs - you name it!
This 6-ingredient sauce is decidedly simple, really aiming to complement the flavor of the yellow mustard. It's slightly sweet from the brown sugar and honey, almost replicating that lip-smacking honey-mustard flavor, and just a touch spicy from the cayenne and black pepper. Apple cider vinegar brings the whole sauce together with acidity and zing. Pair your mustard-based sauce with pork or chicken.

Similar to Disneyland's and Hawaii's Dole whips, they are refreshing and quick.
This Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce recipe adds a spicy tang to pulled pork or other barbecued meats, and it's so easy to make. Here are 2 ways to make it.
The base of the recipe is apple cider vinegar which brings a strong acidic flavor that goes so well with rich, smoked pork. With the addition of ketchup and brown sugar, the flavor of the vinegar mellows just a bit. To take the sauce over the top, red pepper flakes and black pepper gives it a spicy kick that’s irresistible.

Carolina Pulled Pork is one of those classic American BBQ styles that everybody needs to try at least once! Rich, savory smoked pork shoulder is slathered with a thin, vinegar-based sauce to bring a little bite to all that melt-in-your-mouth meat.
Vinegar BBQ sauce is a staple in North Carolina. It is often considered the mother of American BBQ sauce, and its origins date back generations when meat was soaked with acidic sauce while it cooked over an open flame. The sauce is made by combining a few, basic ingredients together and using it to baste or mop over pork to keep it moist while it cooks.
