KB: Despite completely covering the bottom layer, I still had so much overflow you couldn’t see the top layer. Next time, try baking JUST the base layer first for ~20 min, then pour the top layer on and finish baking. Also, the recipe calls for LorAnn Red Velvet Emulsion, which isn’t just food dye but a red velvet cake *flavoring* (artificial)! Didn’t taste anything like red velvet without, just sugar and butter. Also, whole thing was way too sweet. Tossed the cake. :(
