User Review:  In use for decades  I've used Julia's spice rub for over 20 years. Stores well, all dry ingredients. Primary use: large fresh ham, three times a year, feeding 20 family and friends. You can't miss. It has a colonial, early American flavor and marvelous aroma while roasting.

Another User Comment: A sojourn of several hours or overnight in the following spice mixture gives pork chops, roasts, and sausage meat an exceptionally fine flavor; a jar of it in your spice rack is useful to have on hand ... I use this rub on baby back ribs. It’s delectable!!

Proportions to use: Up to 1/2 tsp per pound of meat
