This is my version of the original recipe
Ingredients
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (12-inch) piece French baguette, cut into ½-inch cubes (about 4 cups)
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese, plus 1 cup shredded
  • 2 anchovy fillets, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 romaine hearts, torn into bite-sized pieces (about 12 cups)
