Apple Cinnamon Scrolls
Ingredients
  • Apple cinnamon scrolls - just a little bit yummy!
  • scrolls
  • 2 cups SR flour
  • 90 grams butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cups milk
  • mix and roll out 30 x 40 rectangle
  • filling
  • 50 grams softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 apples peeled and chopped small
  • spread softened butter and cinnamon over dough
  • sprinkle chopped apples over top
  • start at the long side and carefully roll the dough
  • place the roll into the fridge for 20 minutes to chill then cut into 2 cm thick slices
  • place on lined baking tray and bake until golden say 20 mins at 210 degrees celcius
  • icing
  • 1 cup icing sugar, 2 table spoons boiling water and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, mix then pour over the warm scrolls still in the tray, sprinkle with almonds. Let cool and serve!
