Ingredients
  • ½ head cabbage shredded or cut in pieces
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt Optional
  • 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained (could use tomatoes and green chilis, too)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 pound pork breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup onion chopped
  • ¼ cup green pepper chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove of garlic chopped
  • 1 ½ cups cheese shredded (I used a combination of Mexican and parmesan but you can use cheddar or any cheese you like)
