1. I'm a soaker. I think it gives you a nicer full bean. When you don't soak, your best will burst open. Depending on how you use them, it might matter to you.
  2. I made navy beans last night with a ham bone. Soaked overnight, drained, rinsed and put all in pot. Manual for 6 minutes. Natural release. Perfection and a mighty fine looking dish too!
