These waffles are so crispy and tasty, you wouldn't believe they could get any better—until you add the topping. It's so delicious.-If using frozen blueberries, use without thawing to avoid discoloring the batter.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sifted cake flour
  • 1-½ cups whole milk
  • 2-½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature, well beaten
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1-⅔ cups water
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 8 ounces frozen blueberries
  • 8 ounces frozen raspberries
  • Vanilla ice cream, optional
