  • 3 Cups of Anelli Pasta (or any small round pasta)
  • 2 6 ounce cans of tomato paste
  • ½ small yellow onion, minced fine
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 cups of broth
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • note: Seasonings are approximate and can be adjusted to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of dried red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon each of garlic and onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon of dried parsley
