Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
Arrange pretzels 12 across and 7 down on a parchment-lined 13x9 baking sheet. Place main candy on the center of each pretzel.
Warm candy on pretzels in the preheated oven until candy is shiny and slightly softened, about 3 minutes.
If using, press another pretzel on top, making sure some candy squishes out.
If dipping in or drizzling chocolate: Refrigerate sandwiches until completely cool (about 10 minutes). Microwave chocolate for 1 minute at 50% power, then stir. Continue to heat at 30 second intervals, stirring vigorously in between, until melted. Dip one half or all of sandwich with a fork into the melted chocolate (or drizzle it on top). Allow the excess chocolate to run off, then return to the baking sheet.
If using, press down large toppings and/or dip into bowl of (or sprinkle on) small toppings.
Refrigerate until completely cool.
