Ingredients
  • 8 oz bag of Snyders mini or snap pretzels (or 16 oz if sandwiching)
  • 36 oz bag of candy that melts (like Kisses, Reese’s Minis, Rolos, Mounds, soft caramel squares etc)
  • Optional: Sandwich between 2 pretzels
  • Optional: Dip half or all of sandwich in, or drizzle on top, chocolate or other melting candy (2 cups)
  • Optional: 2 oz topping like M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces (whole or crushed), chopped Reese’s, chopped or whole toasted nuts, sprinkles etc. (2 cups)
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
  2. Arrange pretzels 12 across and 7 down on a parchment-lined 13x9 baking sheet. Place main candy on the center of each pretzel.
  3. Warm candy on pretzels in the preheated oven until candy is shiny and slightly softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. If using, press another pretzel on top, making sure some candy squishes out.
  5. If dipping in or drizzling chocolate: Refrigerate sandwiches until completely cool (about 10 minutes). Microwave chocolate for 1 minute at 50% power, then stir. Continue to heat at 30 second intervals, stirring vigorously in between, until melted. Dip one half or all of sandwich with a fork into the melted chocolate (or drizzle it on top). Allow the excess chocolate to run off, then return to the baking sheet.
  6. If using, press down large toppings and/or dip into bowl of (or sprinkle on) small toppings.
  7. Refrigerate until completely cool.

  • Reese’s: Reese’s Miniatures topped with Reese's Pieces
  • Reese’s Sandwiches: Reese’s Minis sandwiched, dipped in melted chocolate and crushed Reese’s Pieces
  • Turtles: Rolos topped with toasted pecans. Then drizzle or dip in chocolate (good chocolate mix here: bakerbynature.com/salted-caramel-pretzel-pecan-bon-bons/)
  • Chocolate Nut: Kisses with any toasted nut on top
  • Almond Joy: Kisses, shredded coconut, toasted almonds
  • Snickers: Rolos, chopped honey roasted peanuts
  • Double Caramel: Caramel squares topped with Rolos
  • Birthday Bites: Candy of choice topped with multicolor sprinkles
  • Holiday (your pick): Candy of choice topped with holiday color candy melts (optional) and M&Ms
  • Holiday Sandwiches: Candy of choice sandwiched, dipped in white chocolate and topped with sprinkles
  • Valentine’s: Candy of choice topped with candy hearts
  • Easter: Candy of choice topped with candy bunnies or malted eggs

  • Shamrocks: Candy of choice topped with 3 green M&Ms and green frosting stem
