Autumn Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Candied Maple Bacon
Ingredients
  • 1.5 to 2 lbs Sweet Potatoes, peel on and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 3 strips cooked Turkey Bacon, diced
  • ½ cup Pecans, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Pure Organic Grade A/B Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • ½ tsp Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper
Steps
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 420F.
  2. 2. While the oven is preheating prep all of your ingredients.
  3. 3. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine.
  4. 4. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In a single layer spread sweet potato mixture out onto the baking sheet.
  5. 5. Once the oven has preheated, place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir and continue roasting for 12 minutes. Then switch the oven to BROIL for 5 minutes watching the pecans close so they don’t burn.
  7. 7. Serve warm.
