Ingredients
- 5 cups hash browns thawed (I used 2 20oz bags)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped
- 1 cup half and half (I used ¾ cream + ⅛ c. chicken broth (2 tsp BTB in hot water)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 Tbl Parsley optional
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1.25 cup shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
