Basic Slow-Cooker Beef Roast
Use chuck, arm or shank roast. Brown prior to adding to crock pot. Add potatoes and carrots about an hour or 2 prior to finish time. Place fat side up.
Ingredients
  • 1 Slow-cooker Roast, 3 to 5 pounds
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 to 6 carrots, chopped
  • 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
