steel cut oats in my IP do find a WW friendly

  1. put 2 cups of steel oats, 6 cups of water, cinnamon, pie spice and a cut up apple in the IP. Manuel hp 8 min and NPR for 15 min. Divide into 8 1 cup servings for the week. When I eat I add Kroger's Carbmaster vanilla milk. Oats =4 so, add milk= 1sp total 5sp. If you have a Kroger or affiliate nearby, this milk is great. It has 11 g of protein per cup.
Notes
  • Don't sweeten until you eat it. Otherwise the sweet is evenly distributed and tastes less sweet.
  • Make plain steel cut oats, add fresh fruit, milk and sweeter when serving.
  • I use sugar free Torani syrup in mine - the peach, raspberry & brown sugar w/cinnamon are favorites. Or I also throw in a big spoon of pumpkin puree & pumpkin spice. The liquid is w/half water and half Fairlife milk.
