Lamb curry cooked in chillies, green coriander & yoghurt
Ingredients
  • 800gms lamb leg on the bone; cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • ½ “ginger
  • subheading: For the curry;:
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1" cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 dried mild red chillies
  • 2 medium onions finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ “piece of ginger
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 200mls water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves roughly chopped for garnish
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • subheading: For the paste;:
  • 40gms coriander leaves and stems
  • 1 green chilli
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
