Ingredients
- 3 ½ C (420g) King Arthur Keto Wheat Flour Blend
- ¼ C (60g) The Works Bread Topping
- 1 ⅓ C (341g) lukewarm water
- 1 TBS Better Cheddar Cheese Powder or, Vermont Cheddar Cheese Powder
- 1 ½ tsp SAF Instant Yeast
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 TBS (28g) butter, softened
- TOPPING
- 1 TBS The Works Bread Topping
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix and knead to make a smooth, bouncy dough, about 5 mins using a stand mixer with dough hook on low speed, 7 mins by hand.
- Cover dough and let rise in bowl for 15 mins.
- Shape into a 9" log and place into a greased 9"x5" pan.
- Cover and let rise for 1 ½ to 2 hours, until the loaf rises about 1" above rim of pan.
- Toward end of 2nd rise, preheat oven to 350F.
- When ready to bake, uncover bread, brush top with water, and sprinkle with remaining 1 TBS of bread topping.
- Bake for 30 to 35 mins, until golden and center reads 190F on digital thermometer.
- Remove from oven and tip out bread onto a rack to cool completely before slicing.
