The plan chia pecan pie
Ingredients
  • Raw Chia Pecan Pie- Thanks Christine Branyik Thornton for this amazing picture!
  •  
  • Almond Four Pie Crust
  •  
  • 1 Cup Apple Sauce or finely grated peeled apple
  • 1 ½ Cup Pecans
  • ½ Cup Chia Seeds
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp Nutmeg
  • Extra Pecans to Top
  •  
  • Prepare pie crust in springform pan, per recipe directions.
  •  
  • Place all filling ingredients into the food processor and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides periodically.
  •  
  • Pour filling evenly over crust. Top with pecans -- decorate as you desire.
  •  
  • Cover and place in the freezer for at least 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from freezer
