Ingredients
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red peppers
- 3 pounds pork riblets
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons corn starch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- diced green onions for garnish
- sesame seeds for garnish
Steps
- Add the first 7 ingredients to your pot. Stir until the brown sugar is completely dissolved
- *In a skillet over medium high heat add the vegetable oil
- *Add the riblets...brown on all sides
- *When the riblets have been browned add them to the pot. Stir to coat each riblet
- Close and seal your lid
- Set your pot to manual or pressure cook 30 minutes. Allow a 10 minute npr
- Open your pot and set it sauté. When the liquid begins to bubble add the cornstarch slurry a little at a time. Stir until thickened
Notes
- * you can skip this step if you like
- This can be made with 1 cup of brown sugar if you prefer a sweeter sauce..
- Can be served over rice
