Slow Cooker Honey-Balsamic Pulled Pork with Asian Slaw
An easy slow cooker pulled pork recipe tossed in a honey-balsamic sauce and topped with s homemade Asian  slaw prepared with purple cabbage.

You don’t need a special occasion to serve this Delish pulled pork. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner that can do its thing in the slow cooker all day, and it would make a great game-day menu option if you’re pondering what to make for the Super Bowl.  And if your looking to embrace a little tradition. Pork and sauerkraut has been a New Year’s tradition to serve up some good luck for the new year but next time, put your own little twist to it, serve this pulled pork with the Asians slaw.  You will soon make it a new tradition in your home’
Ingredients
  • subheading: For the Pulled Pork:
  • 2½ to 3 pounds boneless pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • ¼ cup blackberry jam
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup small diced yellow onion
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • subheading: For the Asian Slaw:
  • ½ pound purple cabbage, cored and finely shredded
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions (green parts only)
