"This is a great recipe for beginners! This was my first time making fish and it was a hit. Even my 9 year old daughter who wouldn't dream of eating fish EVER had half of my portion!"
The Cheesecake Factory has been serving up slices of its famous cheesecakes since 1978. Perhaps just as famous is the iconic Cheesecake Factory bread—especially that soft, tender brown bread. It’s served warm in a basket along with classic French bread. It’s almost impossible to be in a bad mood once this heavenly bread arrives at the table!
If you like grain bowls or grain salads, you will love this recipe for a wheat berry salad. Wheat berries are a nice way to mix up the grains you eat, especially if your regular standbys are rice or quinoa. Wheat berries are mild tasting and have a nice chewy texture to them.
They do take quite a while to cook (soaking them ahead of time shortens the cooking time), but that gives you plenty of time to make the dressing, chop herbs, and get all those seeds out of the pomegranate.

Former First Lady Laura Bush is credited with putting these delicious oat-, coconut-, and pecan-stuffed cowboy cookies on the map. And the story behind her famous cowboy cookie recipe is almost as good as the cookies themselves. Almost.
As with most things in Texas, Bush's Cowboy Cookies are enormous and wholly stuffed with so many mix-ins: oats, coconut, pecans, and of course, chocolate chips. They're sure to win over any crowd.
Chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans, ceci beans, or channa) are a staple food used in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Indian cuisines. You can find them in soups, stews and hummus, ground to make bread, and even (in the late 1700’s) roasted and brewed as a coffee substitute. In this recipe you’ll combine them with hoisin sauce, Sriracha, sesame oil and silken tofu to create crispy, golden, lightly fried vegetable cakes.
Made and served in the same pot, our slow-cooker cocoa is thickened and enriched with dark chocolate. Set up an add-ons bar beside the cooker (mini marshmallows, crushed candies and peppermint schnapps take cocoa to a whole new holiday level), then stick a ladle in the pot and let guests help themselves.

Cherry tomatoes roasted to perfection with fennel seeds and black pepper do create some magic. Roasting tomatoes is a great way to bring out their natural sweetness. The flavor profile of the tomato intensifies and you are left with something so simple yet so elegant, you won’t believe your taste buds.
Imagine- soft bread with hard crust, crunchy walnut bits and hint of red wine. Red wine walnut bread is beautifully pink inside and brown outside. The red wine taste is mild and subtle.
I served it with fennel roasted cherry tomatoes like bruschetta and everyone loved it. You go ahead serve with roasted tomatoes chutney, chocolate spread or as a side with tomato garlic soup.
New England Hot Dog Buns are a classic for a reason. The addition of milk powder makes the dough uniquely soft and delicious, and the straight sides are fantastic when toasted, and crunchy, and golden brown!

This broth is designed to be made in the days before Thanksgiving, which is why it calls for turkey giblets and trim pieces in addition to wings. Roasting the vegetables and turkey bits imbues the broth with the flavors of roast turkey drippings, making it perfect for make-ahead white wine gravy. Don’t be alarmed if your chilled broth gelatinizes – that’s a sign you extracted lots of collagen, a mark of good broth. (Watch Claire make Thanksgiving dinner from start to finish on YouTube.)

Braising canned white beans with garlic, chile flakes and olive oil is a classic recipe — a speedy, meatless, very satisfying weeknight meal. This version turns the mix into a sauce for pasta, brightened by lemon juice and zest, and rounded out with fresh parsley or arugula and cherry tomatoes, a juicy contrast to the velvety beans. The pasta water also plays an important role here, keeping the beans from becoming pasty. Use the best olive oil you can, especially for drizzling at the end. That’s where you’ll really taste it, and a robust, herbal oil will add a lot of character to this simple dish.
Light and fluffy sourdough pull-apart dinner rolls that don’t taste sour and make your kitchen smells amazing! With one little trick, learn how to get them ready in 2 hours
The only thing cozier and more festive than warm, melty baked Brie? Warm baked Brie surrounded by rosemary-scented pull-apart bread that’s crusty on the outside and fluffy in the center. This star bread can serve as a stand-alone centerpiece, though we also love the idea of using it as a jumping-off point for a whole arrangement of snacks, like crudités, dried fruit, and dips. The dough can be mixed the day before and the bread, sans cheese, can be baked earlier in the day and reheated with the Brie tucked into the center so that it’s at the perfect temperature when your guests arrive.

Inspired by the French tarte soleil, this shareable, tearable centerpiece bread looks impressive but is very easy to pull off. The durum flour imparts a beautiful golden color and gives the bread its crisp-yet-light texture. The filling is a creamy, savory mixture of cream cheese, Parmesan, quick-roasted garlic and herbs de Provence (or the spice or herb blend of your choice). It doesn’t need a dipping sauce, but garlic oil, pesto, or even warm marinara wouldn’t hurt.

Kulchas are a type of leavened Punjabi bread made with maida (white flour) and cooked in a tandoor or on a tawa (flat griddle). While kulchas were historically leavened with old kulcha dough (basically a sourdough starter), you’ll now see recipes that use yeast or baking powder and/or baking soda. Kulchas are puffed and tender, like naan, and are also often prepared with fillings. Here, that filling is a bright, tangy mixture of paneer flavored with herbs, onion, chiles, and spice that gets distributed into every bite. Cooked until charred and brushed with seasoned ghee, they beg to be torn apart and dipped into raita or dal makhani.

This fluffy potato-encrusted focaccia resembles a latke in both looks and taste. By baking the dough in a shell of shredded potatoes (we use frozen hash browns for ultimate ease and efficiency), you get the best of both worlds: a fluffy, almost creamy bread and a crispy, salty, oniony potato layer in every bite. This potato focaccia is a joyful celebration for Hanukkah, of course, but it will also satisfy anyone who revels in the combination of carb-on-carb, whether that’s in the form of potato pizza, vada pav, or Sichuan stir-fried potatoes over rice.

These pull-apart clover rolls are infused with the flavors of the classic Italian pasta dish cacio e pepe (which literally means “cheese and pepper”). The dough is flavored with Pecorino Romano and black pepper, then coated in more cheese and pepper both before and after baking for an umami-rich cheesiness and a tingle of heat in each bite. Eat these rolls alongside any meal — they pair especially well with pasta or a warm bowl of soup.
