This is a great example of a basic almond biscotti, if that is what you are looking for. I used 1/4 C. Sugar, 1/4 C. Splenda in addition to the brown sugar, might try all Splenda for the white sugar next time.
Had a couple versions of chicken liver in Italy, but the parfait in Iceland, with blueberries, toasted sesame seeds, bacon, and a few capers was DIVINE. It had the consistency of whipped cream, so I'm not sure this recipe will do the same.
This receipe is more pate, BUT the Iceland version must have mixed in skyr. Try that in the future. Mom, Buddy & Carv loved this with fresh focaccia - Sammy and Mitch turned up their noses (cowards).
