This is a great busy day dinner. Slice up the vegetables the night before you need them, so everything is ready to go when you get home. I suggest browning the meat before adding the other ingredients for better flavor. I cook with 1 cup of tomato juice and serve this over noodles.
I need to give this one another chance. I did not precook the sauce as recommended, and the raw wine and tomato paste taste did not cook out. The meat also needs to brown before adding liquids and the amount of liquid need to be reduced. It was a fast dinner, but I still prefer stove top stew.
