Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients
  • 500g of chicken breast or thigh
  • 3 carrots chopped
  • 1 packet of mushrooms
  • 1 good sized broccoli
  • 125ml of thickened cream
  • 1 packet of penne pasta shells
  • 2 handfuls of diced bacon or ham
  • 2x packets of chicken Alfredo recipe base
  • Parmesan cheese
Steps
  1. Sear the chicken on the stove until slightly brown and then put into slow cooker
  2. Throw in the veggies to the slow cooker and add the sauce in and stir in
  3. Put on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours
  4. Half an hour before serving add in the thickened cream and stir in.
  5. Boil the pasta and combine in the slow cooker when cooked
  6. Serve with Parmesan cheese
