2 Tablespoons flour

½ cup softened butter

1 ½ cup white sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

2 cups flour

1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature (or substitute by putting 1 tablespoon lemon juice in the bottom of a 1 cup measuring cup and add enough milk to make 1 cup)

¼ cup butter

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup brown sugar
