Ingredients
  • 10 oz. no yolk egg or whole wheat egg noodles
  • 1 Tbsp light butter -I use Land o’ Lakes light butter made with canola oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • ½ cup celery, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp salt, to taste
  • ¼ tsp pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp granulated chicken seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups fat free chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cup fat free half and half or skim milk mixed with 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast or turkey breast, without skin, cut into bite size pieces
  • Dried or fresh parsley-garnish, if desired
