Nettle Protein Smoothie
This smoothie is notable for being high-protein, rich in vit. A, B2, K, calcium, iron, and omega 3s. Despite its distinct green colour, it does not have a grassy taste.

Ingredients
  • 200g Stinging nettles blanched / or use spinach
  • 100g Tofu, natural
  • 100g Banana or an apple
  • 20g Hemp seeds
  • 1tsp Ginger, fresh, grated
  • 10g Dark chocolate 90%
  • Water
Steps
  1. Blanch stinging nettles by dipping them into a boiling and right away to a coldwater. Blanching deactivates stinging and preserves fresh green colour.
  2. Cut nettles into smaller pieces, then blend with all the ingredients in a high-speed blender. Use frozen bananas if you want a thicker, creamier texture.
