  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp Land O’ Lakes butter
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Gold Medal all purpose flour
  • 1 pkg Lipton dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 c water or beef broth
  • ¼ c dry red wine
  • salt and pepper to taste for beef
