Spicey Tofu/Tempeh Tacos
Ingredients
  • 2 small blocks tofu
  • 1 small block tempeh
  • 1 onion
  • 4 to 5 garlic gloves
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp dried cilantro
  • 4 tbs tomato paste
  • 3 tbs sriracha
  • 1 tbs soy sauce (i use gluten free)
  • Tortillas and toppings of your choice
  •  
  • Dice onion, mince garlic and sauté in some water.
  • Crumble up tofu and tempeh and marinate in the sriracha and soy sauce
  • Add tofu / tempeh crumbles to onion and garlic and brown for about 10 min
  • if it begins to stick, add a bit more water.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and cook for another minute or so.
  • Put in/on tortillas, add your toppings.
