Barbecue Turkey and Spinach Pizza
Ingredients
  • 1 Medium Onion - Chopped
  • ½ Bell Pepper - Chopped
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 teaspoon Steak Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Herbes de Provence
  • ½ teaspoon Granulated Garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Granulated Onion
  • 2 to 3 Cups Fresh Spinach
  • ½ Cup Tomato Puree
  • ¼ Cup Barbecue Sauce
  • Fresh Mozzarella
  • Pizza Dough (here's my recipe)
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 450*F.
  2. In a medium pan, brown the turkey over medium-high heat with steak seasoning, herbes de provence, granulated garlic, and granulated onion. Once browned, remove the turkey from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add about ¼ cup water to the pan and stir to scrape up the toasted seasonings from the bottom. Saute the chopped onion and bell pepper in the juices formed until tender.
  4. Add spinach to onion and pepper mixture and wilt down, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  5. Roll the pizza dough out until it fits a baking sheet. Parbake for 5 to 8 minutes, it should be risen but not browning.
  6. Top the crust with sauces, veggies, meat, and cheese, then bake until done. About 10 minutes.
Notes
  • Add a couple tablespoons of sriracha to the sauce for a sweet and spicy kick.
