Take a Hike from Accomplice Bar:
LA’s great outdoors celebrated in a spicy mezcal cocktail.

At Accomplice Bar in Los Angeles, a guest visiting from out of town requested a cocktail “that was very Los Angeles.” What Beverage Director Ramsey Musk created was a mezcal cocktail evocative of hitting the trails around the city. “This drink is all about feeling like you’re on a hike in Southern California,” explained Musk. “Smoky, rich, dry, the smell of fresh sage. It’s just a lovely nod to some of the environments that surround Los Angeles.”
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ OZ. MEZCAL
  • ¾ OZ. FRESH LEMON JUICE
  • ½ OZ. STREGA (OR YELLOW CHARTREUSE)
  • ½ OZ. FINO SHERRY
  • ½ OZ. CHIPOTLE HONEY
  • 6 SAGE LEAVES
  • 1 DASH ORANGE BITTERS
  • 4 DROPS 20 PERCENT SALINE SOLUTION
  • CHIPOTLE HONEY
  • 200ML HONEY
  • 100ML WATER
  • 50G CHIPOTLE PEPPERS IN ADOBO SAUCE
  • 20G FRESH SAGE LEAVES
