Vegan Fettuccine Alfredo (No Cashews)
Ingredients
  • 6 oz ( 170 g) fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tbsp ( 45 g) vegan butter or margarine, (or 2 tbsp olive oil)
  • 1 tbsp ( 8 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup ( 240 ml) unsweetened oat milk, storebought, SEE NOTES
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp ( 16 g) nutritional yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon ( 1 g) nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon ( 10 ml) lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon ( 2 g) vegan lactic acid, or 1 tsp more lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 handful chopped fresh parsley, garnish
