Potato Soup
Ingredients
  • 3 cups diced potatoes
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ¾ cup diced celery
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 tbl spoons butter
  • 3 cups water
  • 1-8 oz package sour cream
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
Steps
  1. combine potatoes, onions, celery, bouillon cubes, salt and pepper, butter and water; cover and cook over medium heat 25 minutes or until tender
  2. mix sour cream and flour into a smooth paste, add milk to paste stir until smooth, pour into vegetables
  3. cook and stir over medium heat until desired thickness, about 10 mins
  4. cover over low heat 5 to 10 mins more
Notes
  • it is best to add the milk to the flour/sour cream paste a little at a time
