Golden Syrup Steamed Pudding

Pour 3 to 4 tablespoons of golden syrup into the base of a 1 litre pudding basin or Pyrex bowl, or large noodle bowl or other microwaveable bowl (not plastic).

Tilt the bowl to cover the sides in syrup.

100gms self raising flour,

½ cup sugar,

1 tspn ginger (optional),

2 eggs,

2 tablespoons of milk.
