Bangin’ Beef Stew

- 4 mixed coloured peppers, 1 heaped teaspoon allspice, 600g lean stewing beef, 10 bay leaves, 8 cloves garlic
- Place a large shallow casserole pan on high heat. Deseed the peppers and chop into fingers, then place in the pan with 1tab olive oil, a pinch of S&P, and the allspice. Chop the beef and stir into the pan with the bay leaves. Crush the garlic and fry for 2 minutes, tossing regularly.
- Add 2 tabs of red wine and 500ml water to the pan. Cover, then cook in iven fir 2 hrs, or until dark and sricky. Loosen with a splash of water if needed. Season and serve.
