Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
  • 20 large white or cremini mushroom caps, stems removed
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
