Sourdough Starter Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 2½ c flour
  • 1 Tbs baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 Tbs cold unsalted butter
  • 1 c sourdough starter
  • ¼ c milk (more or less as needed)
  • 1 Tbs melted butter
Steps
  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in butter.
  3. Add starter and milk (as needed)
  4. Lightly butter bottom of cast iron skillet.
  5. Knead and roll out dough to 1 inch thick and cut into biscuits.
  6. Place into skillet.
  7. Brush tops with milk.
  8. Brush tips after baked with melted butter.
