Amy's Crockpot Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
  • 12 oz medium shells (4 cups)
  • 4 Tbs butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (1 cup cheddar, 1 cup mozzarella)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 10 ¾ oz can condensed cheese soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • ½ tsp salt (optional-omit if using meat)
  • 1½ cup diced ham or linguica (optional)
Steps
  1. Boil macaroni for 5 minutes, drain. Place back in cooking pan with butter and let it melt.
  2. In crockpot, add all other ingredients, mix well. Add buttered pasta to crockpot, stir again.
  3. Cook 2 hours on low or 1 hour on high.
Notes
  • Fits in a 4 quart crockpot.
  • Use a 6 qt crockpot if doubling recipe.
  • Cook in RocCroc on high in microwave for 10 minutes.
