Lentil, Sausage, Kale soup, IP
Ingredients
  • 2 quarts beef broth
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 pound lentils, dry
  • 1 pound kale, chopped
  • Spices to taste (I used garlic powder, salt, a few splashes of worschesthershire, oregano, and pepper)
  •  
  • bread
  • parmesan
Steps
  1. Put all ingredients except the kale into the  liner and cook on manual for 15 minutes. QR after 10 minutes and add kale while it is on warm until kale is tender. Serve with bread and parmigiano.
Notes
  • another poster says too bland.  me:  add more herbs/spices after cooking?  use hot italian sausage?
