  • ¾ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup (240 ml) bottling liquid from a jar pickled pepperoncini
