Ingredients
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 small white onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ⅛ cup maple syrup
  • ½ tsp dried dill, or to taste
  • salt of sprinkle
Steps
  1. Toss together the cucumbers, onion, and tomato in a large bowl. Combine the vinegar, water, and maple syrup in a microwave-safe dish and bring to a boil and pour over the cucumber mixture. Stir in dill, cover, cool on the countertop, and then refrigerate until cold. This can also be eaten at room temperature, but be sure to allow the cucumbers to marinate for at least 1 hour.
