  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 ¼ pounds ground turkey, or pork, or a combination
  • 4 teaspoons grated fresh ginger (from a 2-inch piece)
  • Tender lettuce leaves, steamed rice, and fresh herb sprigs (such as basil and mint), for serving
