Ingredients
  • 1¼ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups (32 ounces) chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • One 14.5-ounce can tomatoes with diced green chiles, undrained
  • ⅓ cup masa harina
  • 1⅓ cups milk
  • One 15-ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • One 16-ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen corn
  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
