A Columbia Restaurant Signature Soup

  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • White rice, cooked
  • Chopped onions for garnish
