Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast (see note for active dry yeast)
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 to 3 ½ cups (about 15 to 17.5 ounces) all-purpose flour (can sub bread flour - see note)
  • ½ cup (2 ounces) finely grated Parmesan or Asiago cheese (freshly grated is best)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
