Victoria Cake - CWA
Ingredients
  • 113g butter
  • 113g sugar
  • 1 cup plain Flour
  • ½ teasp Bi-Carb soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teasp Cream tartar
Steps
  1. preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Sift flour and put in warm oven (as it heats or no top as it heats??)
  3. Beat butter to a cream with sugar, then add eggs separately
  4. add rising agents to flour , then sift into egg mixture
  5. Divide into 2 greased round tins, and bake until cooked??
  6. Put raspberry/strawberry jam between and sifted icing sugar on top.
