General Tso's Chicken
Ingredients
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch pieces (about 1 ½ pounds)

  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 small dried red chilies, seeded and broken into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • Peanut oil for deep frying

  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
  • 3 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
