Hamburger Sausage Cheese Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 lb hamburger, cooked
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked (Jimmy Dean Regular)
  • 1⁄2 large onion, chopped and browned
  • 2 lbs Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 10 3⁄4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 ounces Rotel Tomatoes, with bell peppers (Salsa can be used as a substitute for this)
Steps
  1. Brown hamburger meat until cooked through and drain.
  2. Brown breakfast sausage until cooked through and drain.
  3. Cook onions until soft and slightly caramelized.
  4. Place hamburger, sausage, and onion in crock pot.
  5. Cube Velveeta cheese and place in crock pot.
  6. Turn on high until cheese is melted. Stirring occasionally to keep from burning.
  7. Turn back to low and serve.
Notes
  • You can also mix all ingredients on the stove-top to speed up the process and place the cheese mixture in the crock pot to keep warm while serving.
